Home-based education
A programme built
around the learner.
Explore EOTAS delivery and home education support separately, with teaching shaped around individual needs.
Two routes. Different arrangements.
EOTAS delivery
Teaching delivered as part of an agreed EOTAS programme. Scope, responsibilities and outcomes are established with the commissioner and family.
Explore EOTAS delivery →Home education support
Subject teaching and curriculum support for families arranging their child’s home education.
Explore Home education support →A shared teaching approach.
The existing home-based offer includes maths, English and science, tailored resources, practical subject-linked mastery experiences and a personalised Record of Learning. The published home-based offer ranges from one to five hours per day, with content and delivery adapting to the learner’s readiness. Academic and practical achievements can connect to student-chosen milestone rewards.
The routes have different arrangements. Enquiring about support does not establish funding eligibility or confirm a commissioned programme.
A conversation is a good place to start.
Tell us about the learner, what matters to them and the support you are looking for.
An example of individual planning.
See how an individual curriculum plan can bring learning priorities and support together.
